So he's done it once at UCLA, and it was with Steve Alford's team. Every other year, he's failed. In fact, it's gone the opposite way with him finishing the year lower (sometimes significantly lower) in the rankings than he began.
I may have overlooked one exception to what I said, but you're also refusing to acknowledge that Cronin has led the team lower in the rankings, not higher, the majority of his time at UCLA.
