As a season ticket holder, I've been saying this for years. The problem is not just scheduling mid-majors, it's scheduling bad mid-majors, who lose 20+ games a season. The few times we've scheduled competitive mid-majors, we lost or almost lost to several of them. That's something you don't want on your resume. I'm sure that type of team would love the chance to come into Pauley and beat UCLA. It would be their most important game of the season and would be highly motivated. Are we afraid of them?
