young people's interest moved away from classic live sports attendance to e-sports & streaming as entertainment; cheaper home theater systems made watching a game at home a better experience than the hassles of in person attendance; UCLA football has sucked and people are, perhaps, less inclined to spend good money on a bad product; people like me are turned off by the incessant money grabbing by ESPN, the CFP, big conference teams, and NIL that has tarnished college sports; the social impact of the pandemic (as for myself, to this day, I am less inclined to go out and venture to live sports events...it's become a hassle and since the covid I am more inclined to stay at home).
These are just a few reasons why I no longer attend UCLA football (and sports in general) in person. I used to be a long time season ticket holder to UCLA football and the San Diegoi/Los Angeles Chargers football. I was also a season ticket holder to UCLA basketball.
