White has an excellent chance. He's thought to be a hardworking recruiter. He's personable. Not a dull stiff like Dorrell and not a bullshetter like Rick. But I share the concern that he's a defensive coach. He played on defense, he's coached on defense. You gotta score a lot to win, period. I don't see UCLA beating teams with defense.
For that reason alone I prefer Rees. I think it's at least 50% that one of these 2 gets the job. With apologies to Happy, I think these choices are as good as any that are realistic for us. With the money Chip saved us, I hope they at least tried with Jedd the Fisch.
