would seriously consider a move to the B10 making $4million. Just the buyout if he was fired would set him up for life. And, that guy is a good, proven coach.
We hired CDF because a) he'd keep the staff - no buyouts (if we're paying him $2 million/year less than Chip, there was money for buyouts. b) this is the best offer he's likely to get in a lonnnng time. He probably will be more amenable to the constraints the AD is putting on the football coach.
