Good points all. Those hypnotized against Chip can't see this side of reality. These are the posters who cuss and swear and attack me personally, but they literally can't see it. They're blinded to it by their cognitive dissonance.
The movie installed in their heads by their media (BRO, Bolch, Morgan Center) is that Chip was a lazy recruiter. They've been blinded to Ucla's complete failure in exciting and supporting NIL from its inception. They also can't see the fact that Chip was operating in a program going through BANKRUPTCY, held in place solely by a debtor in possession financing from the school. Acknowledging this crippling financial condition and lack of support for NIL would destroy their internal anti-Chip dialogue, so they disregard it. They literally toss it out of their minds. The cognitive dissonance is too painful.
Note that the narrative here is never anti-Morgan Center, it's never anti-Jarmond when in fact this is where the chronic problem is.
We've had incompetent, unimaginative, government-style leadership for nearly 30 year running now. Jarmond and the incompetents in Morgan Center are just the latest vintage of dim bulbs holding back Ucla Football. Elsewhere, there is far stronger, more imaginative and aggressive leadership behind the more successful power programs.
Tennessee is suing the NCAA. Think Ucla would ever do that? Not in a million years.
