I understand your post regarding private equity. Heck, a few years ago, my CPA firm did exactly that...they partnered with a private equity firm so that they had the resources to purchase other CPA firms and other service providers that were complimentary to the services that we were providing our clients. In this case, however, what would be the purpose of partnering with private equity? Give up some profits in order to fund coaches salaries as well as NIL? Not sure if that is a good use of that money. It would be cheaper in the long run for the university to borrow the money rather than give up profits
