out for all the programs. There is that part where I'll just have to sit back and let things fall into place and see what develops.

The couple of things that just keep sticking out. First, these are all minor league athletes at best. When you look at all minor league programs, there really isn't huge fan interest. And all those programs, the players are under contracts. They just can't leave. But, for sake of argument, I'll assume there are an amount of programs with athletes that will be able to do well over time.

The second point though is every professional sports team works on a business model that is based on generating PROFITS. Every professional league is limited to the amount of teams that make it sustainable. And if you look at every league in every sport, look how many teams end up relocating because they are losing money and CAN NOT last. Recently the Raiders and most likely the A's will have left. The Raiders have left cities multiple times. The Coyotes left Phoenix in hockey.

In college, most Athletic Departments appear to be losing money each year, and now all of a sudden there is going to be this potential to pay out as much as $20 million to it's athletes? I must be really jaded, because I just don't see how most of the Division 1 schools are going to be able to last. At the very least, I hope Ucla is seriously considering getting rid of ANY academic requirements if they want to compete against the rest of the conference let alone compete against the Rams and Chargers for fan support.
