... spend on the Y for the last 10 years, we'd see a positive correlation. Schools that spend more generally win more, and schools that win less spend less. Sure, there will be some outliers.
What are the big cost components in an AD?
1. coaching salaries
2. Scholarships for players
3. Food for players
4. Recruiting expenses (hookers & beer, etc)
5. Administrative staff salaries
6. Marketing
7. Event management
Where would you make cuts? And how much would those cuts save?
It's easy to criticize. It's harder to turn criticism into implementatable suggestions that actually work.
