How do the other 79 schools navigate this cycle better than Ucla does? Do they "hire & never fire"? What are their secrets? Or is there a perpetual "middle class" of cfb that never wins the rat race? They can never get ahead. Never get to that place where they are "rich". Always striving. Always middle class... at best.
