If we stipulate that you don't know Chip personally so have no idea what he wants or thinks, then we can see that the notions in your post have been assigned to you by the media you consume. The view of Chip as a toxic poison is fiction created by the Parasite and Bolch. It isn't real, but you believe in it because you were told to believe it. The better known term for this is brainwashing.

Evidence won't have any impact upon your imaginary world. In fact, once evidence is produced, confirmation bias kicks in for brainwashed minds and they disregard it as a weak attempt to break their lock on truth. Facts are not what drove you here, so facts won't drive you out. You're toast.

We know that Ucla fought NIL for two years while other programs embraced it. Ucla fell behind in absolute amounts of money available but well behind in relative amounts of money when compared to, say, the SEC programs that jumped into NIL with both feet. This explains why top SoCal talent at that time (Bryce Young, Nico Iamaleava) fled to the SEC.

That failure is not on the head coach but on Morgan Center. The "Chip is evil" narrative sprung up about that time. Since there are no coincidences in life, we may assume the timing was deliberate.

With limited NIL, Chip emphasized the portal, not JV recruiting that fascinates the dunderheads on this board who promptly swallowed the narrative and lost their already brainwashed minds.
