There are no consensus CFB destinations anymore. It's who will pay he biggest NIL.

Again, you are talking about an old model. Recruiting isn't about having nice facilities with tens of thousands of dollars under the table. It's about hundreds of thousands for elite players.

Not really. UCLA makes most of its money from the TV deal.

Pre-Pete Carroll, USC ran its program in a deficit of millions. So did Ohio State and Michigan. With the new TV deal, UCLA can do fine diminishing its FB brand, in fact, it will likely be more profitable. With a bad FB team, UCLA continues to be the most applied to college in the country.

It's not what I want but with the new Big 10 TV deal, UCLA really doesn't have to do anything to make those bucks.

An athletic department no longer runs on jersey sales.
