One, I don't record streaming content. I just stream it on demand.

The "game a la carte" model is interesting. Right now, I have the amc "stubs" subscription. $25 a month, 3 movies a week, so 12 movies a month. If I go to 2 movies a month, the sub is almost a 50% discount off of the basic admission. Rather than pay "a la carte" (traditional way for moviegoers), I'm going the opposite direction.

In the sports world, the main "ppv" action I see is for mma and boxing. These are special events that aren't regularly scheduled. Unlike football, bball, baseball, soccer, hockey, tennis, etc., which have seasons and know the exact schedule of contests months in advance.

On DTV, there are ppv channels for baseball games, bball games, football games, etc. It's like 50 bucks to buy an nfl game. There was a day where dtr was the starting QB for Cleveland but the game wasn't being broadcast in the la market. I was interested in watching. Once I found out the price, I was like fvck that bullshiit. I'll catch the highlights later. Or maybe nfl network will show a replay of the game.

I think buying a "league pass" is the more economic way to go. I don't think many people would utilize your "a la carte" vision for cfb games.
