This might've made some sense in 2002. Now that it's 2024, "hiring a good coach" is not a condition precedent to having success. NIL is the condition precedent for success. A "good" coach is secondary.
Success in today's CFB means being an astute and shrewd talent evaluator and having the money to buy the talent you want. Money talks, suckers walk.
Ucla isn't well set in either talent evaluation or money and won't be for at least two years. So, find another hobby. The mighty Bruins are no more.
