is that, two games in, support for him has pretty much collapsed. There just aren't a lot of voices out there who are standing up for him or who have any confidence in him. He's so bad that there's a consensus that he can never succeed.
Foster has an easy job, really. Win 3-4 games and he's good for 3 years. But I don't think he can even do that. He is completely bereft of any talent as a head coach. He can't scheme, he can't inspire, he can't communicate, he can't recruit, and he has no real connections in coaching circles. Basically, he lacks any of the skills needed to be a head coach. He lacks X's and O's, executive skills, and basic salesmanship.
So what I'm saying is that there's a chance this boat will take on water really fast. I'll stick with my prediction of 2 years, with an outside chance of 1-11 causing a "negotiated departure to focus on family" situation after this season.
