I was explicitly stating that the pass defense is atrocious. There isn't much to read into beyond the fact that our secondary sucks. Is our run D better because we sellout to defend the run at the expense of pass defense? Is our pass defense so bad because we sell out to defend the run? Perhaps both are true, but on the balance, our D still sucks. Not a single opposing offense we have faced has had any difficulty moving the ball against us or scoring. Even Hawaii dominated us in the first half.
We have a future NFL draft pick taking up a ton of space in the middle of the Dline and a couple LBs that are pretty good and could end up playing on Sunday as well, though they completely whiff on tackles, particularly Medrano, far too often, but that is absolutely it, we don't have an even remotely serviceable secondary, they are awful, terrible, atrocious, the worst, and because our secondary is so freaking bad, our defense as a whole is pretty freaking bad.
