I don't recall anyone saying Rice. And, SMU would have been a great pick-up for the Pac.

I also suggested SDSU. Never said SDSU could replace the LA market. Just that San Diego is a decent sized market with only one professional sports team (since then they've added women's soccer and are adding men's soccer).
