I’ve done a 180 on this. I don’t blame Chip at all. I blame Jarmond. Everyone knew Chip was looking around for a different job. We were listing jobs here of where Chip was begging for a job and interviewing. Everyone knows Chip should have been fired at least 14 months prior to his departure.
If Block had enough $$ and desire to extend Jarmond before he left thereby crippling the income Chancellor, he could have found a few dollars to pay chips buy out.
To compound the problem Jarmond hired, this is not hyperbole, the least qualified HC in D1 cfb history to replace Chip. Yes, worse than Gerry Faust (at least he’d been a HC previously). Then Foster hires an OC with an offensive system that Helen Keller knew wouldn’t work. So then we have to fire the OC again and we bring in a guy who has never called plays (with nobody to lean on because Foster has never called plays either) in his life. How’s that likely to conclude.
This is all on UCLA, we a fcuking disaster. Poor leadership all around. Who wants to write a big check for NIL to be a bunch of fcuking incompetents?????
