My point is that I only care about the superior way to determine a champ. That’s the goal. The more steps you add, the less likely you get the best teams playing for all the marbles.


You'll never admit it, but you were wrong about everything. Oregon wasn't the best team (you get a pass on Georgia). I think we can all agree that it was Ohio St. You were against expanding the playoffs because it would be "less likely you get the best teams playing for all the marbles". But just the opposite happened. If the playoffs weren't expanded, Ohio St. wouldn't have been included in a four team playoff since they were ranked 6th in the final playoff rankings.
