First part of the pattern I notice is that your comparison ends 15 years ago. How has recruiting been for the past 15 years?
Second, what's your source?
Third, ya think we're going to ever return to the Toledo era of having the No1 ranked class? or 10th?
I said if Foster recruits to KD's level I'll be happy. The incoming class is ranked 57th. So far, not so good.
TJJ has compiled a list of my quotes on the topic: ""You said he recruited "pretty well". You said that if DF could recruit at the level of KD you'd be "quite happy". You said KD started off recruiting "awesomely" and that he brought in "a ton of talent" early on. You then repeated "a ton". You referred to a lot of his recruits as "damned good" or "great".
Dorrell recruited pretty well. I had not remembered his fall off when it became clear he couldn't coach. But, for UCLA, presently, with Foster, I would take 29th, 30th, and 21st recruiting classes. It's
I would take guys that are the equivalent of the list I replied to TJJ with. Do you think we'll ever have the 1st, 13th, 14th, and 7th ranked classes or 14th, 13th, 10th?
And, did those recruiting classes go after 2010, 15 long years ago. Times change, and ya I would take classes in the range of 29th, 30th, and 21st. Are you saying you wouldn't?
