They touched on a lot of things with positive vibes, but in paying attention, the one area they didn't talk about at all (pretty much) is the key to the season.
They avoided talking about the Offensive Line. And that was the worst unit on the team last year, in terms of who were the starters at the beginning of the season, injuries and the abysmal running game/red zone performances leaving Garbers running for his life on many plays.
I think the defense will be fine (tho it would be nice if the pass rush shows up early and Malloe doesn't have to rejigger everything during the season to try to generate pressure). IMHO, we should be improved everywhere this year, and improved over the last 6 games of last year, not the beginning of the season, but it all depends on those two factors - offensive line improvement and finding a way for the defense to generate pressure and penetration.
