...that's when the 7th-ranked, 4-0 Bruins behind Freshman QB phenom Josh Rosen took on unranked Arizona State.

80,113 fans packed the Rose Bowl for the 4:30 PM kickoff, only to watch the 2-2 Sun Devils - coming off a 42-14 home loss to USC - spank the Bruins 38-23.

The Bruins went 4-4 the rest of the season. Attendance drifted downward during that and subsequent years, and now - well, here we are.

Before 2015, the Bruins regularly would attract 80K fans for a game. Oct. 3, 2015 was the last time it happened. To me, that's the high water - now making it 10 years of decline in fan interest.
