The problem with UCLA football is that we fancy ourselves to be ata a level we're not. We're not a mediocre team that needs to get better. We're a bad team that needs to be mediocre first before we can be good.
The Chip Kellys of the world are coached that take good teams and make them super. Or at least that's what he did at Oregon. If you brought, I dunno, the Nick Saban of the dominant Alabama run to UCLA instead of Kelly, he would've failed too.
We've never quite grasp the kind of coach we need. Mira before the divorce understood how to take a group of losers and turn them into fighters. We're back to that point know.
