that guy who bails on a team late in the offseason. Sure, if the Ohio State or Notre Dame job opens up the same time as Chip bailed on us, coaches would jump ship to coach tOSU or ND, because of their pedigree. There is only so many chances to take a job like that.
But you do not want to be the guy who leaves at the wrong time for UCLA, because there are always opportunities to be hired at a program like UCLA. Every offseason there are 10+ HC job openings.
