And eventually came to terms with the depressing "Fact" that UCLA has for quite some time not been representative of football in general. At the same time, one of last year's CFP semi-finalists who came within a field goal of making the final, spent much of this season on life support, and before last season, the current #1 team in the country hadn't had much a pulse for several decades, which suggests that things can perhaps change quicker than ever.
