In an interview with BRO after the second game of the season, Malloe said that he was not getting some of his best players onto the field because his defense was too complicated for them. He said that he needed to simplify the defense because his better players made too many mistakes in practice. This was after spring and fall and two games. He had as much time to prepare as the competition. I think that even Putin couldn't contrive a more unbelievable explanation. As far as elevating Carson Schwesinger into the starting lineup the prior year, he was really late on that.
