The thought of Chesney serving as a defacto special teams coordinator is hardly comforting.

And role of the modern TE arguably requires the mastery of more discrete skills than any other position on offense after QB. The quality of the TE room has a huge bearing on the success of both the pass and run game, and can also play a major role in elevating the WR room.
