there aren't enough assistants to cover every position with a dedicated coach. But I don't remember noticing a staff with a position coach dedicated to nickle backs before. iirc that's generally been the purview of the safeties coach on most staffs. I've seen good things come from a dedicated coach for special teams. It will be interesting to see how this all works out for us
