Well, I've seen the parent of a HS baseball teammate of mine yell at his son, "SonsName, you suck!" while he was still out on the diamond (the dad was also the HC of our football team, for which both his son and I also played...dude was a piece of work).
I also saw a father come out of the stands, storm into our dugout and slam his kid against the dugout wall...twice...after the guy struck out and threw his helmet. Talk about a chill thrown over the game that afternoon.
But booing one's own kid...no, haven't seen that. ;)
(Note...I actually do agree with your sentiment. I'm not at all a fan of booing college players on one's own team because they didn't live up to my self-entitled vicarious performance standards).
