...and yes, very believable. I remember some dads of my friends who were brutal to their sons in front of me. Those kids didn't have good life outcomes.
I've played a lot of tennis over the last 20 years, and there's a special place in hell for "tennis parent". You can imagine the type, if you haven't actually encountered these scumbags in the wild. So yeah, I think I have to retract my assertion...there's little if any difference between booing and berating.
