Unlike the Cal game, and to riff on a song by Liz Phair, he did tuck and run. Several times. Wondering if SDSU spied him. His scrambles were really effective last season. Not so much on Saturday. Or, maybe, SDSU had their D pushed forward more, and there just weren't any lanes?
Anyway, if I were Chez & Co, I'd be telling Nico unless it's 3rd down in a close game, chose chuck and duck (throw it away) over tuck and run. We need you bro; and, the designed runs have been effective. That's enough beating. Limit your "carries," whether by sack, scramble, or designed runs to maybe 6-7 (I'm not going to say it) per game.
