I saw Barry Odom work miracles at UNLV so I know he can coach. I was surprised he grabbed the Purdue job when he did and know that is a tough hill to climb to play in the upper half of the B10. Ucla should obviously be able to win this game, but definitely not one to take likely IMO. These types of games also make me nervous when you have a late start time, no real media coverage, and favored in double digits. Not that you should HAVE to get up for any game, but still think guys can take games like this for granted.
Typically I'd say the season really starts next week, but it''s a week earlier this year. Hopefully things are starting to feel like it's gelling a bit for the team.
