He looked good. His scramble was shades of DTR where he did a big turn back to the middle of the field and lost us yards that didn’t need to be lost.
Because Madden has looked shaky, I want TD getting hit as little as possible. Get rid of the ball, don’t take sacks. Don’t scramble unless it’s third down and the game is getting close to be on the line.
If we can get by Wisconsin, we don’t have a game where we will need the extra dimension of a running qb until Michigan. Let’s get through Wisconsin with a healthy QB.
It really looked like they were limited the playbook with him. I hope that’s not an issue.
And, it might be Madden.
Whichever one starts, I wouldn’t mind seeing the other get a series to get them some time me in the O.
I’m guessing a flee flicker or two would be useful, as Wisconsin will probably press.
