Say the Republicans, 44 of whom in December, less than a month ago, voted AGAINST providing 75 million dollars in funding for building and maintaining fire breaks and brush clearing in the Pacific.

In December, 44 Republicans voted against HR 10545, the American Relief Act of 2025, which provided funds for wildfire prevention measures, including $75,000,000 for the "construction or maintenance of shaded fuel breaks in the Pacific Regions."

So the people blaming Newsom literally weeks ago voted against funding to do exactly what they said Newsom didn't do
