Now if Don and Pete don't screw it up. Europe seems to be stepping up to plate, which may be a good thing in the long term. With the money saved by not having to buy arms for Ukraine Don the Con can give bigger tax cuts to his wealthy cronies.
In other news Egypt is floating a plan to rebuild Gaza for Palestinians by moving them to secure areas while the strip is cleaned and rebuilt. Egypt's plan is being discussed with diplomats from Europe, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. I hope this plan gets legs. Maybe such a plan would stop Israel's continuing land grab in the Gaza strip?
I'd like to see Europe really get behind Ukraine and change the dynamic. I don't trust Trump & Co. to be even handed in any negotiations involving the future of Ukraine. Don the Con envies dictators too much to be a steady hand.
