The negotiation will be with Ukraine/EU or Ukraine/EU/next US President.
Russia is in a hurry to end this war with the current boundaries, no peacekeepers, an agreement that Ukraine won't enter the EU, and 350 billion in reparations.
Ukraine has no desire to end this war.
That should tell something about who is worried and who isn't.
Also listen to Trump's rhetoric. He's trying to end this war quickly for Russia's sake. He sounds like Putin not Zelensky. Again that should tell you something.
As I said before, the US does not control when this war ends. Poland, the Baltics, Germany, etc have no desire for Russia to be able to rearm as they would if the war stopped now. They have much more skin in the game than we do.
