trump/putin alliance. The Europeans with Zelensky may come up with a very workable plan to end the fighting. trump will never cede to their plan topping his and Putin will follow trump's lead.

Under no conditions do I see war between Europe and Russia. If the European talks result in nothing due to trump then Europe can develop plans to support Ukraine's fight and the war will go on maybe without US support. That will make trump look like a double failure to end the war and lose the rare earth deal, but I don't see much he can do about it.

If the Europeans could come up with a plan but make it appear that trump gets full credit it might work. Otherwise the fighting will continue until either Ukraine or Russia breaks.
