Sasaki didn't go five, so he can't get the win. None of the relievers was pitching when the team took the lead for good. But they have to give it to somebody. So that leaves it up to the scorer's discretion. He is supposed to give it to the relief pitcher who was deemed to be the most effective. There are no hard and fast rules to determine this.
The rule reads like this: When, during the tenure of the starting pitcher, the winning team assumes the lead
and maintains it to the finish of the game, credit the victory to the relief pitcher judged by the scorer to have been the most effective.
Banda pitched one scoreless inning as did Vesia and Scott. Casparius pitched two. Only Scott gave up a hit. So on that basis, Casparius probably should have been credited with the win but it's all very arbitrary.
