I read elsewhere that Trump and his posse are insisting that in 2019 a judge referred to Abrego as "an MS-13 gangmember" and because of that they still contend he's a gang member so even if they weren't supposed to deport him he's still a bad guy.

What I read was what Trump is claiming is only true if you completely distort logic. What the judge did was say in court in 2019 he was ACCUSED of being an MS-13 gang member, but the administration is cutting out that word in caps and saying the judge said MS-13 gang member

The cruelty is the point is pretty clear here. They know they deported a guy who didn't do what they said he did and almost certainly isn't a gang member, they just don't care they want to scare people.

and yes they don't want the guy released and talking to CNN about how he was tortured
