They get a lot of their information by word of mouth, and they don't check on the accuracy of what they hear. They simply pass it along.

To go viral, it helps to be outrageous.

What breaks through? Stuff like higher prices at the grocery store or gas pump. Stuff like losing your health insurance or food benefits. Stuff that affects you directly.
