They will be referrenda on Trump.
Although I think the Dems should focus on the economy, issues won't matter that much.
I think the last two Democratic Presidential campaigns were mis-managed. Hillary should have focused on undermining Trump's image as a businessman. Kamala should have focused on reminding people how bad things were in his first term.
Election consultants get too cute for their candidate's good.
However, in the upcoming elections, the campaign can be about anything. It won't make much difference.
