That poll and the one posted above are a perfect example of why it's so hard. This one says Dems are increasingly frustrated about soft on the border policies from Dem leadership.
And the poll above it says the country has moved significantly towards approving of immigration and seeing it as a positive.
Those almost directly contradict each other.
I'm seeing Trump supporters on my feed literally daily expressing remorse about voting for him because of the current immigration raids. Yes there are many saying this is what I voted for, but I also have many saying I didn't vote for janitors and landscapers to be chased down I voted for criminals to be rounded up and removed.
I admit to extreme frustration with the party. I don't even read the emails I get now from them. I do get the focus on Trump because he's POTUS now. I don't see an easy solution as long as his people support him no matter what, they're going to have to defeat the mentality that rose him to power
