Read Stranger decades ago

Thought Heinlein's other stuff was meh. Starship Troopers showed some of his fash lean. (The movie was a parodic dumb masterpiece.) I suspect Stranger would be less impressive now. Lots of Techbros take his work waaaay too seriously.

SciFi/Fantasy I've read most lately is NK Jemisin (Broken Earth/Moonblood) and Butler's Parables. And all of the Sapkowski's Witcher Books.

Waiting on Martin's final books in GOT that is never going to come.

In the past read a lot of Moorcock's various eternal champion series. Picked up The Final Programme a while back to start a read, but haven't gotten too it.

Friend of mine got a true crime procedural published, "The Man Nobody Killed" about Michael Stewart's death by cop in 1983. Good read and pulls together a lot of cultural touchstones.
