It's a long link, but it offers some insight on the deal and its effect on the EU, which probably gave up more than it got back. Note that the annual energy purchase estimates only last as long as Trump's term.
Also it should be noted that the EU will seek trade agreements with other countries, which may impact its trade with the US. And some other members of the EU have concerns that will need to be addressed.
A good trade deal should be reasonably symmetrical and I'm not sure this one is, but time will tell. Governments should look out for the welfare of those they govern...unless you're V. Putin.
