I have a sibling that has a deed of trust on the title of her home that her ex had put on it to keep the creditors away while they were married.
(I know...Long story.....one of the reasons why he is the Ex.)
Anyway, does the Deed of Trust ever go away on its own (statute of limitations) if there is no promissory note or maturity date for it?
