and Craig is definitely among the very best of us. I've been lucky to meet up with him twice; the first when Alabama played Texas in the Rose Bowl for the BCS championship, and then again when he and his wife hosted us for dinner in Winter Park, FL when we traveled to Walt Disney World to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
He also contributed a lyric to "Meat Wagon Blues," a song I wrote with him and blackhillsbruin several years ago.
I hope his DIL will have the kindness to reach out to you once everything has run its course. Regardless, you're lucky to have known him for such a long time.
