I'd be careful on taking any of these types of articles too seriously. No one knows China's capability, including China because they've never been in battle. Chine is rife with corruption so we don't know what actually works, how good their leadership is, or how good their equipment works.

Currently only Ukraine and maybe Russia are barely capable of shooting down a drone with a drone but this is new technology. England and Ukraine are making a joint venture of creating these drone killer drones.

The US is likely creating this technology now. In fact the US has people on the ground in Ukraine learning how they do the fast turn around in drone development as both sides one up each other in drone/electronic war technology.

China can destroy Taiwan easily but that would destroy it's chip industry and the value Taiwan has. To take over Taiwan however is a very difficult task since Taiwan is a unsinkable giant battleship. Taiwan is loading up with missiles/drones right now. There are only small windows due to weather where an invasion can take place.

This will not be the US's battle to fight. It will be Taiwan's battle with US support much like Ukraine was (with arms) and currently is with all of our intel support.

China is basically Russia without the experience of combat which Russia had constantly been in.
