a level of strategic thinking to Trump, who does not strike me as someone who thinks even a single step ahead when he makes a move. He is really a simple person who reacts to stimuli without there being any Ong range thinking underneath his action.
It makes a whole more sense that Trump reacted to Maduro dancing and dismissing his threats than assuming that he's playing some sort of strategic game here.
