With the wife and friends. It's complicated and ever changing but I really do think if midterms are canceled it's time to go. My list looks like this;

1. Canada, awesome and close but very hard to retire to because of their immigration requirements.
2. Portugal
3. Spain
4. Panama
5. Costa Rica
6. Northern Japan
7. Mexico City

Adult kids staying in the US probably precludes Europe. I used to be afraid that the ruzzians would imperil western Europe post-NATO but not any more.

Panama offers a lot but in a tRump kingdom he probably takes the canal, which screws that up.

Japan is apparently awesome and inexpensive out of the big cities but they want you to speak Japanese.

I was all in on Mexico City but am reconsidering after the recent backslide into lawlessness.

Could be Costa Rica for the win. UNDER THE RADAR.
