just as he handles all other crises: he is lying about it.
His so-called speech yesterday proved that he doesn't understand what he is doing, and that he doesn't care about the consequences to other people. He only cares about himself, and he will use his best tools - lies & misinformation - to pursue his personal self-interest.
And why not?
Lying has worked well for him. It got him to the White House. Unfortunately, his lies always come with a cost: someone always gets hurt. Sometimes hurt badly, and sometime many people.
The MAGA crowd didn't care as long as Trump's victims were dark-skinned people, or Jews, or females, or "the liberal elite". At this point, many of them don't even care when they themselves are victimized.
I wonder to myself: is it the sheer volumes of mis-information that surrounds us today that enabled Trump to triumph; or have too many of our fellow citizens simply lost the ability to think critically, thus enabling them to embrace Trump even when his policies hurt them?
We are living in interesting times...
